In some men, the combination of alcohol and PDE-5 inhibitor drugs can cause a drop in blood pressure, and this could make alcohol somewhat more impairing to you than if you weren’t taking Staxyn.

Another drink you need to be aware of in relation to Staxyn is grapefruit juice. Grapefruit juice can inhibit Staxyn’s breakdown in the system, causing it to remain in the body longer. Unfortunately, this doesn’t mean the positive effects of Staxyn last longer, but it does mean that if you experience side effects, they may last longer if you have been drinking grapefruit juice.
